When important news happens regarding The Box Doctor, it will find a home on this page.

That would include sub-contracting opportunities, service interruptions, special items, and rate increases (gasp!).

I'll work hard to keep that last item down to a minimum of course.

July 30th, 2008:

There has been a critical security announcement floating around for several months now, although the specifics have been lacking. The Box Doctor now has the specifics necessary to address this issue.

If you understand the severity of this flaw, and don't mind working with your connection settings, please go to the Open DNS site, and follow these instructions to address this issue. This is the simplest solution, there are others for more advanced server usages (likely to be known to your SysAdmin).

If your technical comfort level is low, please call during my regular business hours for remote assistance with this issue. There will be no charge, as I'm doing this for everyone's browsing security, and I am not inclined to profit from this particular issue.

Should make this piece of internet real-estate a little more user-friendly - and easier to find (I hope).
